Dr. Raman Nautiyal
Research Coordinator, Biostatistics, IGREC
Raman Nautiyal holds a Ph.D. in Statistics specializing in Sample Surveys. He has a rich experience of 25 years in designing surveys and experiments related to forestry science, Ecology and Environment. Before joining IGREC he was working with Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE) and headed the newly created Division of Forestry Statistics for more than 6 years from 2013 to 2019. He left ICFRE in 2019 and, in addition to coordinating research in Biostatistics at IGREC, he is also a consultant Statistician in several fields like pharmacy, medicine, education, economics, life sciences, etc. He also conducts faculty development programs and other capacity building programs in quantitative techniques. He specializes in using advanced statistical software including R.
